“Top Gun: Maverick” actor James Handy not only died from being viciously stabbed, but he also suffered “neck compression,” which was another huge factor in his demise, according to the Los Angeles Medical Examiner.
The M.E. ruled that Handy was killed by a stab wound to the torso and neck compression, which is caused by age-related wear and tear in the nerve roots of the neck when they’re squeezed or put under abnormal pressure.
As we reported, Handy, 81, was attacked with a knife by his girlfriend’s son, Michael Gledhill, inside Handy’s L.A. home on June 3, authorities said.
Police found Handy seriously wounded in his front yard — and the actor was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Gledhill walked away from the crime scene and was caught on Ring camera footage — obtained by TMZ — casually passing by a neighbor’s house. But he didn’t get far … police officers quickly arrested him, also on video.
The Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman charged Gledhill with one count of murder with a special allegation that he personally used a deadly weapon, a knife.
Between alcohol and smoking, if my patients are willing to quit only one of them, I tell them to quit smoking. Smoking causes pancreatic cancer, which is a deadly disease with a survival usually less than 1-2 years. Vaping is a form of smoking cessation where they inhale and exhale an e-juice called propylene glycol and not nicotine. Vaping has so many chemicals like acrolein, diacetide, formaldehyde which can cause the same effect as smoking. I am certain that even vaping will also cause pancreatic cancer down the road – So, no smoking and no vaping.

Ten years after a 2-year-old boy was killed by an alligator at Walt Disney World, newly released records reveal the resort has removed a staggering 414 gators from its property since the tragedy.
The staggering number comes a decade after 2-year-old Lane Graves was fatally drowned by an alligator while playing near the shoreline of a lagoon outside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort in June 2016.
According to records, obtained by ClickOrlando, hundreds of alligators have been trapped and removed from Disney World property since the tragedy, highlighting the ongoing challenge of managing wildlife at the massive Florida resort.
The attack sparked nationwide headlines and prompted major safety changes around Disney’s waterways. Warning signs, barriers, and other measures were added throughout the resort after Lane’s death, while wildlife officials increased efforts to monitor and remove nuisance alligators from guest areas.
The young boy’s death remains one of the most heartbreaking incidents in Disney World history. Lane was vacationing with his family from Nebraska when he was attacked.
The newly released figures offer a glimpse into the scale of the work being done behind the scenes to keep guests safe.

Just when you thought Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods might still be on the outs … the former BFFs were seen giving each other a big hug after the Knicks beat the Spurs on Wednesday night.
And Kylie’s moment with Jordyn was caught on video as the two were celebrating with other Knicks fans on the court after Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks won in a dramatic comeback victory over the Spurs 107-106.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
Check out the video … Kylie sees Jordyn and dashes up to her before the pair embrace and jump up and down with excitement.
Considering their recent history, this is monumental for the onetime best buds, who had a major falling out years ago. It all stemmed from a cheating scandal between Woods and Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian’s longtime partner. Tristan kissed Woods at a house party in 2019, and Jordyn later confirmed on a podcast that they had kissed but did not sleep together.
Since Khloe is Kylie’s half-sister, Kylie dropped Jordyn like a bad habit, but they kind of patched things up by putting a “healthy distance” between their relationship as Kylie recalled in a 2024 epsiode of “The Kardashians.” However, Kylie was MIA from photos posted by Jordan of her bachelorette party in 2026.
Now, it seems, they’re back and better than ever!
