‘American Idol’ Contestant Dimitrius Graham Arrested in Los Angeles
Dimitrius Graham
‘American Idol’ Alum Arrested in L.A.
Published
“American Idol” finalist Dimitrius Graham was arrested in Los Angeles Sunday and booked on a trespassing charge … TMZ has learned.
The head-turning incident was caught on video … and shows Graham being cuffed by officers on an LA Metro train as you hear him yelling out about what is happening to him. The singer — who also appeared on “The Voice” — says he was unable to show his train ticket because his phone died … but was barred from exiting the train to get a physical ticket and instead taken away to the clink.
He reposted the video on his own social media page, and also hopped online to share an update after claiming to be locked up behind bars for 24 hours.
In his video, Graham claimed he lost a veneer and suffered a fractured wrist from the incident … calling the whole ordeal “crazy” — especially over a $1.75 fare he claims he paid.
Instagram/@thisismeechi
Graham says he thinks he was “racially profiled,” but doesn’t blame police … theorizing they “wouldn’t be so mad” and ready to attack him if they were paid better or given more vacation days. All in all, the musician says his heart is warmed that people are able to see his story … and reminds followers they have rights, and should know them.
The LAPD tells TMZ … Graham was allegedly acting erratic when officers approached him and then refused to leave the Metro when asked. They add Graham only offered to buy the ticket once he was detained.
As for his alleged injuries … we’re told a use of force report was taken because Graham was complaining of pain … but a supervisor found no wrongdoing. There was also a complaint taken after Graham alleged biased policing, LAPD says.
Graham competed on “American Idol” Season 17 in 2019, when he made it to the Top 10. He also appeared on Season 27 of “The Voice” in 2025 on Michael BublĂŠ‘s team, where he competed for a handful of weeks before being cut after a battle round.
We’ve reached out to Graham for further comment … so far, no word back.

T.I. Unleashes at 50 Cent With Fiery New Diss Track “Right One”
T.I.
Fires Off Blistering 50 Cent Diss Track … Listen!!!
Published
T.I.
T.I. is dragging his beef with 50 Cent straight into the studio — and TMZâs got the first listen to the diss track.
Hit play on this … because T.I. ain’t playing nice, calling 50 a “5-0 dispatcher” — basically branding him a snitch — and clowns him as a keyboard warrior whoâs tough online but nowhere else.
Then it really gets spicy. T.I. raps heâs got “he has paperwork from n**** in prison ya name is in em” … a bombshell claim that goes straight at 50âs gangster brand. Thatâs not light shade … thatâs nuclear!
In case you forgot how we got here — this all started when T.I. accused 50 of “ducking” a Verzuz battle theyâd talked about doing. Instead of locking it in, 50 went the trolling route on social media, firing off jokes and memes, but never actually stepping into the ring.
And with this track, T.I. just turned the volume all the way up. Now we wait for 50 — because if thereâs one thing he doesnât do, itâs stay quiet.

Deliveryman Who Was Detained, Released in Nancy Guthrie Case Held For 5 Hours
Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping
Deliveryman Was Questioned in Cop Car for 5 Hours
… Still Hasn’t Gotten His Phone Back
Published
TikTok/Brian Entin
Jesse Showalter — the attorney for the deliveryman who was detained and later released in the Nancy Guthrie investigation — tells Emmy-winning journalist Brian Entin his client endured at least 5 hours of questioning for no good reason.
Remember … a man named Carlos Palazuelos — who works for DoorDash and GLS — was detained by authorities about 60 miles south of Tucson, Arizona. Law enforcement also questioned his family and allegedly broke down their front door while raiding their home.
Showalter tells Entin that Carlos was handcuffed in the back of a cop car for his 5-7 hour interrogation and still hasn’t gotten his cell phone back from authorities.
What’s worse … Showalter suspects they had no just cause. His best guess is that they were acting based on some “electronic evidence that is really dubious,” like “cell phone pings” or “flock cameras.”
Showalter says, “I don’t know that he was ever even in that area.”
According to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, their search was court authorized.
As you know, Nancy was reported missing on Sunday, February 1 … hours after her family dropped her off at home following Saturday night dinner with her daughter Annie Guthrie and Annie’s husband Tommaso Cioni.
All family members have been cleared from suspicion in the case.
