Will Smith could get roped into the ongoing legal battle between his former friend and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith … at least if the former friend gets his way … TMZ has learned.

According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Will’s ex-friend, Bilaal Salaam, is making moves to depose Will as part of his lawsuit against Jada.

On July 7, Bilaal wrote an email to Jada’s lawyer with his request to depose Will … but Jada’s team fired back, “As for your proposed deposition of Will Smith, there is nothing to meet and confer about.”

Jada’s team told the lawyer Will is not a party to the litigation … and added Will had not received a subpoena to be deposed.

The email was attached to a motion filed by Jada, seeking to compel Bilaal to turn over additional evidence in the case. She said he has failed to produce medical records despite his claims of emotional distress in the $3 million lawsuit.

As TMZ first reported … Bilaal sued Jada, claiming she had people threaten him after he refused to help clean up the PR mess Will created with his infamous Oscars slap … and after she found out Bilaal was writing a memoir, which included mention of the Smith family.

Jada denied all allegations of wrongdoing and scoffed at the claim that she threatened him. The judge dismissed some of Bilaal’s claims and awarded Jada over $30k in legal fees … but the remainder of the case is still ongoing.

The man accused of barging into the “TODAY” show and confronting Craig Melvin was marched out of an NYPD precinct Thursday … hours after allegedly slipping past security at 30 Rock.

Check out the video … Andrew Truelove, who police say is behind the incident, was led out of the station in handcuffs Thursday afternoon. As photographers shouted questions, he asked, “So, you actually heard about what I did?” before repeating the question and saying he’d been cooperative as officers escorted him away.

TMZ broke the story … Truelove allegedly entered the building from the “TODAY” plaza Thursday morning and made his way into a restricted area after first asking staffers for Al Roker.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ … the intruder couldn’t find Al and instead turned his attention to Craig … allegedly lunging at the NBC host while yelling the N-word at him.

We’re told the man entered a stairwell and made his way backstage, near the dressing room area, though exactly how far he got remains unclear.

Truelove was booked on hate crime burglary, hate crime menacing, hate crime criminal trespass, and harassment charges.

The incident unfolded around 9 AM ET, with staff and security rushing in to detain the man before police arrested him. A photo taken inside the studio showed Craig surrounded by several people in the immediate aftermath.

Despite the alarming encounter, nobody was hurt … and Craig and Al were both back on camera roughly 15 minutes later without mentioning the chaos that had just unfolded behind the scenes.

Our TMZ cameras later spotted a heavy police presence outside 30 Rock as investigators began looking into how the stranger managed to get so deep inside the NBC building undetected.

Bottom line … his terrifying “TODAY” show intrusion ended with a perp walk.

‘DWTS’ Gleb Savchenko Brings Receipts To Child Custody Fight With Ex-Wife

‘DWTS’ Gleb Savchenko
RECEIPTS BACK ME UP IN CUSTODY WAR

Screenshots or it didn’t happen? Gleb Savchenko says he’s got ’em … at least when it comes to his child custody war with his ex-wife.

The “Dancing with the Stars” pro says he has hard proof in his emergency custody battle with Elena Samodanova … dropping screenshots he says prove she traveled to Moscow with their youngest daughter after keeping the children — Olivia and Zlata — in Hong Kong for years.

Gleb filed docs with the alleged proof … one screenshot appears to show Elena’s phone location pinging in Moscow … while another captures a WhatsApp conversation in which she allegedly says she arrived in Russia for a family funeral. Gleb claims the messages also confirm their youngest was with her.

In his declaration, Gleb says he never consented to the trip — and didn’t even know it was happening. He tells the court he would’ve objected to Zlata traveling to what he calls a war-torn country … adding Elena has repeatedly made major decisions involving their daughters without his input.

As TMZ first reported, Gleb is asking a judge for an emergency child custody order, claiming Elena has kept their daughters in Hong Kong since 2023. He also says he’s filed a Hague Convention petition — an international legal request seeking Zlata’s return, while he says Elena is arguing Hong Kong has jurisdiction over the custody dispute.

He wants the judge to grant him “temporary sole legal and sole physical custody” of their 15-year-old daughter, Olivia — with no visitation from Elena — pending further court involvement after a scheduled hearing.

Meanwhile, Elena tells TMZ Hong Kong is Olivia’s legal home and accuses Gleb of wrongfully keeping her in California by canceling her return flight, saying … “His emergency filing is a rushed attempt to bypass proper laws. I am asking the court to halt temporary orders and grant a continuance so my counsel can present Olivia’s permanent records through the correct legal channels.”

The exes have been ordered by the court to attend mediation over the issue on August 5, and a formal court hearing is scheduled a couple weeks after that.
