Celeste Rivas’ Parents Investigated, Cleared Over Child Neglect Allegations

Celeste Rivas
Parents Cleared In 2024 Child Neglect Probe

Celeste Rivas‘ parents were investigated over allegations of child neglect and abuse about a year before D4vd allegedly murdered the 14-year-old runaway, but law enforcement found no wrongdoing … TMZ has learned.

When Celeste went missing from her family home Lake Elsinore, CA … the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office tells us it opened an investigation that year on April 27. That was a couple weeks after Celeste was reported missing for the second time.

It’s unknown who called to complain, but RCSD tells TMZ the person “expressed concern about a juvenile who had run away.”

We’re told deputies responded and interviewed everyone who was at Celeste’s home … but the investigation found no evidence of child neglect.

Thing is … RCSD says deputies were unable to interview Celeste, who “had not been located” and therefore “were unable to determine if a crime had occurred.”

Celeste’s family reported her missing in February and April 2024 — and, according to prosecutors, Riverside Co. deputies called D4vd on Feb. 17 after finding his number in Celeste’s phone records — and he claimed he had last spoken to her on Feb. 13 or 14, but also told deputies he didn’t know she was a minor or missing.

Prosecutors say Celeste returned home to Lake Elsinore 2 days later, and her parents took her phone.

D4vd allegedly got back in contact with Celeste by driving to Lake Elsinore and paying one of her junior high classmates $1,000 to give her a phone he’d bought for her.

A little over a year after her parents were investigated and cleared for child neglect, prosecutors say D4vd ordered Celeste an Uber to driver her from Lake Elsinore to his home in the Hollywood Hills on April 23, 2025 … and when she arrived at his home, he killed her.

Prosecutors claim D4vd and Celeste first met in 2022, when she was 11 years old … and they allege they began a sexual relationship in November 2023 when he was 18 and she was 13.

Kyrsten Sinema is no longer sleeping with a married man — because her boyfriend Matthew Ammel’s divorce has now been finalized — TMZ has learned.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, a North Carolina judge signed off on Matthew and his now-ex, Heather Ammel, being legally single on March 30, 2026.

The judge granted Matthew an “absolute divorce” from Heather. The order says Matthew is a resident of Arizona. Official records show Matthew and Krysten are associated with the same $2 million home in the state.

Matthew filed for divorce in January 2026. The former couple wed in 2010 and share three children.

The divorce came several months after Heather sued the former U.S. Senator from Arizona for allegedly breaking up her marriage with Matthew.

Kyrsten admitted she slept with Matthew but asked for the suit to be tossed. She claimed she never slept with Matthew in North Carolina, where the lawsuit was filed. The politician did acknowledge banging Matthew in various other states.

The legal battle is ongoing.

Corey Feldman Says Misunderstanding Kept Him From Attending ‘Michael’ Premiere

Corey Feldman
Team Misread ‘Michael’ Premiere Invite …
Star Shut Out Due to Guest List Issues

Published

Corey Feldman says he thought his time at the “Michael” premiere was gonna be a thriller … but a miscommunication prevented him from rocking with other attendees all night.

Here’s the deal … tons of stars — from Magic Johnson to Martin Lawrence to Tori Spelling and more — stepped out for the Hollywood premiere on April 20. However, Feldman, a longtime friend and defender of MJ, was conspicuously absent from the event.

A rep for Feldman tells TMZ … the actor did receive an invite to the “Michael” premiere about a month before it went down, but his manager — in the midst of dealing with a personal issue — thought Corey’s attendance was confirmed when they actually had to reach out and get him put on the list.

When Feldman’s team circled back just before the event, we’re told organizers said he was never officially confirmed … and it was too late to be added to the list because the premiere was over the maximum capacity. Basically, as Michael sings, “beat it” (but in a nice way).

A source with knowledge tells TMZ … there were attempts to reach Corey for a ticket … but his response was too delayed, and by the time he got back … the premiere was beyond capacity.

Feldman’s rep says he was naturally a bit curious to see the movie … but adds the star thinks everything happens for a reason … and it was probably for the best.

Don’t expect to see Feldman walking into a movie theater in L.A. with a ticket either … because we’re told he doesn’t have a strong interest in seeing a fictionalized version of Michael. He lived the story, his rep says … he doesn’t need to see it on the silver screen.

Like we said, Corey has a strong connection to the late star … getting to know him in the 1980s during his teenage years, though the two had a falling out later in life. Just recently, Feldman pulled out a few MJ moves while performing a dance to Billy Joel‘s “It’s Still Rock & Roll to Me.”

We’ve reached out to Lionsgate … so far, no word back.
