Apple’s new MacBook Neo isn’t just the most affordable MacBook by far — it’s also the most repairable MacBook in “about fourteen years,” according to an in-depth teardown by how-to website iFixit.
The “big story,” in iFixit’s view, is the battery. While older MacBook batteries are supposedly glued into place, the Neo’s battery is held by a tray secured with 18 screws. That’s a lot of screws, but iFixit declared that “screws still beat adhesive every time.” In fact, this new arrangement — which should make it much easier to replace your MacBook battery — “sent cheers across the iFixit office.”
Other changes that reportedly make the MacBook Neo more repairable: a flat disassembly tree, the fact that Repair Assistant appears to accept replacement parts without complaint, and an easier-to-replace display and keyboard.
Ultimately, iFixit still had enough concerns — like soldered RAM and storage — that it only gave the Neo repairability score of 6 out of 10. But it said that for a MacBook, “that’s a strong score.”

Jennifer Lopez almost landed on her “Booty” during her Las Vegas residency … just barely catching herself after slipping onstage.
The singer-songwriter took the stage at The Collosseum at Caesars Palace for her “Jennifer Lopez: The JLo Show Live” Friday night … when she was ironically belting out “On The Floor” — which she almost ended up on herself.
Check out the clip — posted to social media by reporter John Pascarella — during a quick turn onstage, J Lo momentarily loses her footing.
Thankfully, the star is able to catch herself … and she doesn’t break stride — keeping the number going like the true professional she is.

J Lo’s been performing for years … and she’s had her fair share of mishaps onstage — including last year when her skirt completely came off at a show in Poland.
Lopez’s residency runs through March 28 … and we hope she’s able to keep from falling on the floor for the rest of them, too!

Team Japan is set to take the field on Saturday against Venezuela in the quarterfinals of the World Baseball Classic in Miami … and Yoshinobu Yamamoto and his teammate — L.A. Angels pitcher Yusei Kikuchi — gave folks at the park an up-close look at their arms!!
TMZ Sports obtained footage of the duo hitting a nearby park not long after they landed in the 305 earlier this week … which shows them working on their mechanics as they get set not only for more WBC action — but also for the upcoming MLB season.
Luckily for the two, they seemed to avoid drawing any crowd as they did their thing — perhaps the parkgoers were oblivious to the star power in their presence.
It’s set to be a big night for Yamamoto, as he’ll take the bump for Samurai Japan, with Ranger Suarez slated to toe the mound for Venezuela.
As of right now … Kikuchi is scheduled to start the semifinal matchup, should they make it that far.
Once Yamamoto makes his final start of the event, he will remain with the squad for as long as they keep playing.
