Team GB eye more medals at the Olympics on Day 11 of Paris 2024. Tonight’s action sees Great Britain’s athletics captain Josh Kerr in the men’s 1500m final, where the world champion battles Olympic champion Jakob Ingebrigtsen in the latest meeting of a bitter rivalry.
The women’s 200m final is also a highlight, with Daryll Neita and Dina Asher-Smith outside contenders to win a medal behind big favourites Gabby Thomas and Julian Alfred, the newly crowned 100m champion.
There’s more action at the velodrome later, too, with Team GB’s men’s team sprint trio looking to follow Katy Marchant, Emma Finucane and Sophie Capewell’s excellent gold against New Zealand yesterday, while Lewis Richardson returns to the ring on a packed night of boxing.
Earlier, Sky Brown featured in the skateboarding and managed to push through a shoulder injury to medal yet again – landing her second successive Olympic bronze after doing so in Tokyo three years ago.
Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix missed out on another diving medal as China’s Quan Hongchan won a dominant gold to defend her title. There was also disappointment for Scott Brash and Ben Maher in the individual showjumping final.

Japan, perhaps thrown off by the sporadic delay to the race, began with an uncharacteristically slower start.
